It contains evidence based, disease specific business proposals for nurses to use to establish their current levels of knowledge, understanding and experience, and plan development of their competencies within the framework of the health needs of their practice population in a way which is meaningful to the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF), the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) and National Workforce Competencies.
