It was a privilege and great pleasure to be able to help in a small way to improve medical care in Bangladesh (quote from Jo Riley, Education for Health volunteer Trainer & Senior Respiratory Nurse, Oxford)
Better Breathing Bangladesh
This is our project which aims to improve the quality of care provided to patients with long term conditions in Bangladesh.
Since 2009 we have been providing volunteer Education for Health trainers, learning materials, clinical equipment and patient materials to support our goal to raise levels of care and create a self-perpetuating system of education for doctors, nurses and pharmacists in Bangladesh. In the future we hope to help with the building of a training centre in Khulna, Bangladesh and the establishment of primary care respiratory clinics in the 300 districts across the country.
